If you are staying in Lynchburg and want more of a walk on flat grounds, take a stroll (or rent bikes from this shop) on the blackwater creek trail!! It is the most fantastic little paved trail. The trail goes right through downtown Lynchburg and over onto an island (Percivals Island).
We recommend the electric bikes from the bike shop, we did that a few summers ago and had so much fun!
